• Click on CREATE NEW
• Fill the required fields:
  • Questionnaire title. Name users see.
  • Questionnaire variable. Name system uses. See more here.
• Click on CREATE.

• In Interviewer, by interivewers

Two methods

1. Click ADD QUESTION button
2. Select Add question after from the right-click menu

While both methods add a question, they are subtly different:

• ADD QUESTION adds a question at the end of the list of objects.
• Add question after inserts a question where the user right-clicks

Deconstruct PAPI

• Choose best SuSo question type(s)
• Identify SuSo components

Construct CAPI

• Select Question type
• Provide Variable name
• Fill Question text
• Provide other question type-specific attributes

Deconstruct PAPI

• When choosing SuSo type, there may be a few options. Choose the one that best fits the need.
• When identifying SuSo components:
  • Look at the PAPI components
  • Determine which of them belong where in SuSo
  • Order may be different in SuSo

• Right-click
• Select Copy

Two methods:

• Press PASTE button
• Select Paste after from the right-click menu

Note: SuSo keeps copied object in the “clipboard”. No real need to copy again. Done in slides for purely pedagogical purposes.

As with creating questions, there is a subtle difference between the two methods

• PASTE adds to the end of the object list
• Paste after inserts after where the user right-clicks

Move

• Find a question
• Move to the left-hand margin until the cursor becomes
• Click and drag question to desired location

• Click on TEST
  • If there are errors, Designer will provide a list. See more here.
  • If no errors, Designer will open a web-based tester in a new web browser tab. See more here.
• Update the version of the questionnaire being tested by clicking
